Heavy creosote buildup from wood stoves and furnaces
Why it happens here
Bridger has many outdoor wood furnaces and wood stoves used as primary heat. These appliances burn continuously and at lower temperatures, which produces more creosote than an open fireplace. Stage 2 and 3 creosote are common here.
Our approach
We use rotary chimney brushes and chemical creosote removers to break down glaze. We also recommend a creosote sweeping log for between professional cleanings. For heavy users, we suggest a mid-season check.
